2011 Member-Guest Tournament

The 2011 Member-Guest Tournament will be held the first weekend in June. Practice rounds will be open Mon-Thurs with the T.H. Jewell Shootout on Friday and the tournament rounds on Sat. and Sun. The first 30 teams will be accepted. Call the Pro Shop for more info or to sign up.

The 2011 Member-Member Tournament was held Saturday and Sunday, April 16-17. We had a full field and everyone had a GREAT time! A covered dish meal was held after the tourney and it was delicious! Winners of this year's Member-Member are:

Lakehaven's new YouTube Video Channel

Lakehaven Golf & Country Club now has its own YouTube Channel. The first video was just posted, and it includes summer shots of the course as well as footage from the "Big Show" tournament last week, both on the course and in the new clubhouse. Check it out by visiting our website's new VIDEO page.

The Big Show

Saturday, Nov.6, the "Big Show" was held as a final tournament for the Wednesday afternoon choose-up. Seven 5-man teams participated. The winners are:

Fall golf

There are still plenty of crisp, fall days in which to enjoy golf. Come on down and play...the greens are back and the course is beautiful!

Summer on the Course

The Lakehaven Golf Course is in beautiful shape this summer, with loads of flowering shrubs and trees in full bloom. We are an "open to the public", semi-private golf course, designed and built in 1983. We are located on 72 acres in Decatur, Tennessee - in southern Meigs County - on a peninsula along the beautiful Hiwassee River. This 9 hole, par 36 course boasts carpet-like Bermuda grass fairways and lush bent grass greens. Water comes into play in the form of a spring-fed creek and several ponds on five of the nine holes. Mature trees line the fairways and wild geese can be seen and heard on and around the water. Lucky golfers may even catch sight of one of several bald eagles that nest on the bluffs near the river. Come enjoy a round!
